About the Team
The team behind S.A.S. is made up of two people from very different backgrounds. Both have a passion for the environment and a realisation that people's behaviour patterns need to be altered in order for us to live sustainably and be able to provide for future generations. | |

Having graduated from C.P.U.T. with a degree in Interior Design, she is now working for an interior Design company in Cape Town. She has a passion for design and sustainability, and is committed to making a difference in any way that she can. During her BTech year, the idea for S.A.S. was conceptualised as an extension to her thesis project. Working with another student from her class, they developed the idea and entered it into a sustainable design competition run by the SHIFT organisation. The project was announced as the winner in early 2013, and later that year it earned recognition as a World Design Capital 2014 project in order to capitalise on the opportunities offered by this status. As the main designer and project leader for S.A.S., Bronwen is committed to taking the project further towards becoming a reality. |
Matthew graduated from C.P.U.T. with his diploma in Information Technology at the end of 2013. He has a passion for the work that he does having found a way to turn his hobby into his career. Matthew takes on the role of the developer and project manager for S.A.S., asking the right questions to make sure that the project stays on track. |
